sitting up, zoo fun, cups

caleb has finally mastered sitting up by himself. for awhile, he was doing the tripod thing, and then he could sit up for a few seconds before falling over. but he can now actually sit up and play with things on his own. the only problem is that we've found that sitting in this position causes him to spit up even more than he already does. oh well...















on dec. 30th, caleb and i joined the laws (amy, emi, mia), the weis (steve, sunny, justin), and the lees (sam, carol, jocie) at the zoo. it was a gorgeous day, so it was nice being able to be outdoors. boy, going to the zoo with kiddos sure is a different experience. check out the stroller action. note the empty stroller on the left. we couldn't get emi to stay in her stroller. caleb has become obsessed with trying to drink from a cup. everytime we have a cup in our hand, he tries to grab it and drink from it. he even throws some nasty tantrums if we don't let him. yikes!
