looks like he was his chubbiest at 2 months. it's amazing to watch him grow. he now smiles, laughs, coos, holds up his head, and pulls himself up into the sitting position with a little help. in fact, today, on his 3 month birthday, he rolled over for the first time! he was just laying on our bed sucking his thumb when he rolled onto his side (something he's been doing for a few days).


then, before he knew it, his hips flipped and he face-planted into the mattress. i don't think he was very happy about it, though, because his left arm was pinned under him. he seemed a bit shocked. but what a feat!
